A brave little adventurer finds themselves in a dimension they don't recognise. Shoot down the attacking UFOs and take their warp energy, then jet out of there once your warp drive is fully charged. How quickly can you escape?
Controls:
Arrow keys - Move and turn
Circle button (Z) - Shoot
Cross button (X) - Start the game
This is a game jam submission and my first attempt at making a full game with the PICO-8. I overextended again, but I think the game feel is at least alright.

Love it! The stars blurring in the background is such a cool effect, and the art and sound are just great. Very fun little game, GJ!!
Really fun! I like how the audio ramps at the end to build anticipation. The motion blur and parallax effects in the background are cool details too. Good job! My time was 60 seconds.
Really liked the game! Got a nice retro feel to it!
Amazing work man! Movement felt realistic, clean gameplay, great graphics, punchy sound, and really cool way of completing the level by going sonic speed! Only thing I would add is a bounce off of the enemies when you hit them according to your velocity, but still a very minor change to a great game! Fastest time was 44 seconds.
