Warlocked
[Prototype! See below for info.]
Awaken, Warlock. Your time has finally come. After eons of slumber, I summon you to lay waste to our enemies on the surface. The do-gooders of this land believe sealing you below the surface will stop you. By my power, they will soon know otherwise. Destroy the pitiful warding stones that keep you here, and complete your rise to power in my name.
Destroy all of the warding stones on the floor by throwing fireballs at them, then rise to the next one. The stones make a continuous droning sound - listen out for it!
Controls
- WASD or arrow keys: Move
- Mouse: Look around
- Mouse click: Shoot a fireball
- Hold space or enter after destroying all warding stones: Go to the next level
Prototype Info
This project is a prototype - it isn't finished yet! There's more I'd still like to do with it, including improved visuals and game feel, enemies to fight, more spells to cast and a progression system with a final goal to aim for.
Until then, you'll have to deal with the following:
- There's no challenge. You can destroy all the warding stones and no-one will try to stop you.
- There's no goal. You'll keep going up forever, the surface doesn't exist.
- There are placeholder assets, also including my lack of understanding of how hands work.
Made for PROCJAM 2025 - I've submitted this in prototype form since I started late and won't be able to late submit. I hope you enjoy the idea for what it is!
